The Auvray Zen U-Lock embodies the perfect balance between reinforced protection, compact weight, and generous dimensions for worry-free daily use. Designed by Auvray, the leading French brand in two-wheeler security for over 40 years, this lock offers high security protection rated 8/10 to effectively deter theft attempts. Its 13 mm passivated hardened steel shackle, automatic locking system, and practical frame mount make it an essential companion for securing traditional and electric bikes during urban parking.

Proven and certified security

• High security rating 8/10: Very high-performance protection level according to the Auvray scale, designed to resist attacks by saw, bolt cutters, and lock picking techniques. Materials tested against the most common mechanical attacks.
• Ø 13 mm passivated hardened steel shackle: Robust square cross-section offering maximum resistance to cutting and twisting attempts. The passivated treatment ensures lasting protection against corrosion and weather conditions.
• Ultra-resistant passivated steel body: Massive construction designed to counter drilling attacks or cylinder destruction. Automatic milled key lock for secure one-motion locking.
• Automatic opening and closing system: Maximum daily convenience: a simple movement is enough to lock the shackle. The 2 supplied milled keys guarantee a superior level of security against lock picking.

Dimensions and practicality for optimal urban use

• Large shackle 108 × 235 mm: Generous interior dimensions allowing easy attachment of the frame and rear wheel to an urban fixed point (bike rack, post, railing). Optimal compatibility with most city bikes, hybrid bikes, mountain bikes, and electric bikes.
• Controlled weight of 1.3 kg: Ideal compromise between high security protection and ease of transport. Despite the robustness of its materials, the lock remains lightweight compared to larger diameter models (14-16 mm).
• Black PVC anti-scratch coating: Complete rubberized protection of the shackle to preserve the paint and delicate surfaces of your bike during handling. Quality finish for damage-free use.
• Frame mount included: Universal bracket supplied allowing secure transport of the lock attached to the frame during your journeys. Quick access and easy installation without specific tools.

Recommended use and maintenance

• Daily urban use: Ideal for short to medium-term parking in city centers, in front of shops, offices, or schools. Always prioritize a fixed and solid anchor point to maximize deterrence.
• Recommended complement: For extended parking or in high-risk areas, combine this U-lock with a cable or chain to secure the front wheel and removable accessories (saddle, e-bike battery).
• Simple maintenance: Regularly clean the locking mechanism with graphite lubricant to ensure smooth operation. The passivated treatment limits maintenance needs even in humid conditions. 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
