The O'Neal SONUS SOLID V.25 full-face helmet in Gray/Red embodies the culmination of decades of experience and intensive testing conducted with the best Downhill and Enduro riders, including Greg Minnaar. Designed to combine maximum protection, light weight and optimal ventilation, this full-face helmet is intended for demanding riders seeking technical equipment with an exceptional quality-price ratio. Its robust ABS shell ensures high impact resistance, while its internal EPS foam effectively absorbs impact energy. The SONUS SOLID meets EN 1078 (bicycle) and ASTM F1952 (Downhill) standards, guaranteeing certified safety for aggressive riding.

Technical highlights and innovations

• Ultra-resistant ABS shell: Lightweight and durable, it offers optimal protection without unnecessarily weighing down the helmet. ABS/EPS construction validated for Downhill impacts.
• Fidlock® magnetic system: German engineering allowing one-handed opening and closing, even with gloves. Maximum safety while riding, self-locking closure without pinching risk.
• High-performance multi-vent ventilation: Multiple strategic openings with internal channels for continuous airflow, ensuring thermal comfort even during long sessions or slow climbs.
• Airflaps™ compatibility: Allows adding air deflectors to further improve circulation under the goggle and prevent fogging.
• Height-adjustable visor: Adapts to riding conditions (low sun, rain, visibility) with the option to mount breakaway plastic visor screws (optional) for added safety in case of a fall.
• Premium comfort liner: Ultra-soft padding, removable, sweat-absorbing and machine washable, antibacterial treatment for prolonged hygiene.

Geometry, fit and standards

The SONUS SOLID V.25 is offered in four sizes (XS to L) covering a head circumference of 55 to 62 cm (53-54 cm for adult XS size). The preformed shell design incorporates an optimized rear edge to securely hold the goggle strap, preventing any slippage on descents. The contained weight of 1020 g (size L) makes it one of the lightest full-face helmets in its category, promoting endurance and comfort on long rides. Matte finish with durable multi-layer graphics resistant to abrasion and UV.
