Q-LOC2 System: SR SUNTOUR's patented technology

The Q-LOC2 system represents the major evolution of the quick-release thru-axle developed by SR SUNTOUR. Unlike traditional axles requiring an Allen key, the Q-LOC2 combines a quick-release lever and a fin expansion mechanism that deploys inside the hub to lock the wheel securely. This system offers universal compatibility with 100% of hub designs, intuitive installation recognizable by the locking "click", and remarkable lightness (some models go down to 70g). The aluminium fins in the SSFQLOCAL kit are at the heart of this mechanism: they slide radially to fit the inside of the hub and transmit clamping force evenly.
