The SIDI Prima 2 represents the new generation of road shoes designed for the modern cyclist seeking simplicity, comfort and everyday performance. Launched in September 2026, they constitute the accessible and versatile SIDI 2027 entry-level range, ideal for regular training, club rides and long-distance touring. Available in men's (Prima 2) and women's (Prima 2 Woman) versions, they combine SIDI Italian manufacturing quality with a comfort and durability-oriented approach.

NUUN™ 002M closure system: intuitive and reliable adjustment

The Prima 2 relies on the single NUUN™ 002M dial, SIDI's proprietary closure system designed for quick, precise and durable adjustment. This retractable lever dial allows immediate adjustment even while riding, whatever the conditions (rain, cold, gloves). Unlike dual-dial systems, the NUUN™ 002M simplifies use while providing even tension distribution across the entire foot. The mechanism is built to resist wear and remain operational over the long term.

Construction and breathability

• Soft and lightweight microfiber upper: Wraps the foot with secure support while remaining supple, eliminating foot fatigue over long distances.
• 3D mesh tongue: Integrated into the upper, it promotes breathability and support throughout the ride, ensuring constant ventilation and optimal comfort.
• Millennium Fit anatomical construction: Follows the natural contours of the foot for a secure, responsive fit without pressure points.

R2NC-2 sole: balanced efficiency and comfort

The R2NC-2 nylon composite sole features a stiffness index of 5 on the SIDI scale (from 5 to 12). Deliberately positioned at the flexible end of the range, it offers an excellent compromise between efficient power transmission and prolonged pedaling comfort. This sole also allows more comfortable walking than the ultra-rigid carbon soles of competition models. The non-floating 3-hole drilling ensures compatibility with Look and Shimano SPD-SL cleats, but may limit micrometric adjustments with Shimano's SPD-SLR system. The Cozy Millennium insole guarantees durable and consistent cushioning, essential for long rides.

Durability and replaceable components

SIDI designed the Prima 2 with a durability-focused approach by offering a complete range of replaceable parts: NUUN dial, insole, cleat inserts (3-hole T-nut), non-slip polyurethane heel pad. This approach enables significant extension of shoe lifespan and reduces long-term maintenance costs, while maintaining optimal performance levels even after intensive use.
