The PTN Pepis Tire Noodle R-Evolution M/L 29" insert kit represents a revolution in tubeless protection for MTB. The result of several years of research and development in collaboration with the world's best riders, this system combines an exclusive ultra-lightweight foam insert (109 g per insert) and Lufty ultralight 47 mm valves specifically designed for perfect installation. With its unique dynamic structure and closed-cell material manufactured exclusively for PTN in Belgium, the R-Evolution establishes a new performance standard for 29-inch wheels equipped with wide tires (2.30" to 2.80").

• Exclusive PTN material: Technical closed-cell foam with optimized density, developed specifically for PTN. This unique material offers the best weight/protection compromise on the market (220 g per pair) while guaranteeing progressive shock absorption and a dynamic profile of 39 mm depth.
• Revolutionary shape: The patented quasi-round profile ensures precise fit in the rim (widths 30-46 mm), eliminates lateral tire movement and provides maximum sidewall stability for precision riding, even at low pressure.
• Lufty 2 valve system included: Ultralight valves in aerospace aluminum (4 g/unit, 47 mm), featuring a low-profile head with 2 lateral air outlets to prevent obstruction by the insert during inflation. Wide opening to prevent sealant clogging and optimized airflow thanks to alignment with rim flanks.
• Reinforced anti-puncture protection: Effective protection against rim pinch flats (snake bite), impact resistance and run-flat capability in case of puncture, allowing you to continue to your destination.
• Reduced rolling resistance: The honeycomb structure and calibrated flexibility of the material minimize friction between tire and insert, improving efficiency and responsiveness of dynamic behavior.
• Disciplinary versatility: Designed for all MTB disciplines — XC Marathon, All Mountain, Trail, Enduro — the R-Evolution allows you to use lower pressures for maximum grip without compromising safety.

Compatibility and installation

The R-Evolution M/L 29" kit is compatible with all MTB tubeless systems, regardless of rim brand (aluminum or carbon, subject to manufacturer recommendations) or tire. It fits rims with external width 30 to 46 mm and tires with section 2.30" to 2.80" (inflated width 70 mm +/- 10 mm). Compatible with all sealants, the foam does not absorb the sealant. Installation is facilitated by the material's flexibility and the specific design of PTN valves. The kit includes detailed instructions, a reusable storage bag and PTN stickers.
