Cyclite Food Pouch / 01: the ultra-minimalist handlebar pouch that redefines bikepacking standards. At just 35 grams for 0.8 litres of volume, this pouch embodied by the German brand Cyclite is the essential ally for demanding cyclists seeking extreme lightness, instant access and uncompromising durability. Designed to attach directly to the stem — left, right or both — it keeps snacks, gels, extra bottles, gloves or rubbish within easy reach, without ever slowing your pace.

Technical summary and Cyclite philosophy

Behind Cyclite are Christoph Kirsch and Max Barnsteiner, two bikepacking enthusiasts based on the shores of Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria. With over 45 years of combined experience in outdoor marketing and design, they founded the brand in 2020 with one obsession: to create the lightest bag system on the market without compromising on durability or waterproofing. An official member of 1% for the Planet, Cyclite is committed to recycled materials (recycled nylon PA/N6.6), responsible production and maximum repairability. The Food Pouch / 01 illustrates this philosophy: high-frequency welded, double-sided coated fabric for strength and easy cleaning, draining mesh bottom, streamlined and functional design.

Technical highlights

• Record ultra-lightness: just 35 g — a featherweight that preserves the bike's dynamics and maximises your riding pleasure, even over long distances.
• Optimised 0.8 L volume: roomy enough for a standard water bottle, several energy bars, a pair of gloves or arm warmers.
• Quick access without closure: open top, but height designed to prevent contents from falling out. Ideal during effort, one hand is enough.
• Modular attachment: two Velcro straps (handlebar + stem) + fork bridge strap; left or right mounting, or combine two pouches to double quick-access storage space.
• Draining mesh bottom: integrated mesh evacuates water and keeps the pouch clean, even in the rain or after washing.
• High-frequency welded construction: no seams to fail, perfect waterproofing, maximum durability.
• Reflective logo: discreet but effective visibility in low-light conditions.

Geometry, compatibility and mounting

Dimensions: Ø 8 cm × H 15 cm. Minimum stem length required: 60 mm. The Food Pouch attaches flush with the handlebar, freeing up central frame space for other bags (frame bag, top tube bag). Compatible with all types of handlebars (road, gravel, MTB) and standard stems. The kit includes two additional straps (13 cm short + 25 cm long) for fork bridge anchoring if needed, ensuring total stability even on rough terrain. Frame protection film supplied to prevent rubbing.

Both colours share the same technical characteristics (35 g, 0.8 L, same material). The Food Pouch / 01 is part of the permanent 2025 collection.
