The Forbidden Druid E Tier 3 600Wh embodies the quintessence of All-Mountain electric MTB: an electrified wolf in sheep's clothing that combines the legendary Druid philosophy with the power of the Avinox M2 drive system. Designed to climb fast and reward demanding riders on descents, this full-suspension carbon bike redefines proportional e-MTB standards with its high-pivot Trifecta V3 architecture.
Trifecta V3 Architecture and Avinox M2: the revolutionary duo
- High-pivot Trifecta V3 suspension: Reworked rear axle path, optimized idler position and refined kinematics to maximize traction, support and control on all terrain. The 18-tooth steel idler with Enduro solid lube bearings ensures longevity and compatibility with modern drivetrains.
- Ultralight Avinox M2 motor: Only 2.65 kg to deliver 110 Nm continuous torque (125 Nm in Boost mode) and 1100 W peak power. Fast charging from 0 to 75% available on the market.
- 600 Wh battery: Lightweight configuration (2.87 kg) for playful and dynamic riding, while offering the autonomy needed for demanding rides. Total weight kept to 22.6 kg.
- 2-inch OLED touchscreen and Avinox app: Infinite customization of assist modes, wireless handlebar controls, customizable information display — all controllable via smartphone.
OneRide Geometry and MX configuration
- OneRide proportional sizing: Each size (S1, S2, S3, S4) benefits from specific geometry with adapted chainstay lengths (not simply scaled) to guarantee identical balance and handling, regardless of rider stature.
- Mixed wheel configuration (MX): 29" front to clear obstacles, 27.5" rear (max 2.6") for agility and maneuverability. The Druid E is optimized around this configuration; a 29" rear wheel will not fit.
- Generous travel: 150 mm rear, 160 mm front — all 2026 builds receive full travel (no more LitE or CorE versions).
- Specific e-MTB geometry: Reach from approximately 430 mm (S1) to 487 mm+ (S4) with 160 mm fork, long headtube for high stack, modern head angle.
Tier 3 Equipment: controlled performance
- RockShox Select+ suspension: Lyrik Select+ 160 mm fork and Super Deluxe Select+ 210 x 55 mm shock — reliability, fine adjustments, air/coil compatibility.
- SRAM Eagle 90 T-Type drivetrain: New generation T-Type with Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH), compatible with all modern groupsets.
- SRAM Maven Base braking: Power and modulation adapted to e-MTB weight and aggressive descents.
- Crankbrothers Synthesis Alloy wheels: Robust and lightweight, fitted with Maxxis High Roller III 29" x 2.4" MaxxGrip EXO+ front, DHRII 29" x 2.5" MaxxTerra DD rear.
- Custom full protection: Chain guard, downtube protection, motor cover — all developed in-house by Forbidden for this bike.
- Integrated bottle cage: All sizes, even the smallest, accommodate a 750 ml (26 oz) bottle, with or without shock reservoir.
Specific e-MTB features
- Regional speed limit: 32 km/h (20 mph) in North America, 25 km/h (15 mph) in Europe and most other territories.
- Onboard charging: Battery recharged only when installed in the frame (not removable for external charging). 168 W charger supplied with Tier 3 and 4.
- Standard ISIS crankset: Compatible with the Avinox system.
- Full internal cabling: Selectable brake line routing (left/right according to preference), full Transmission compatibility.
- Trifecta idler: Integral part of the high-pivot suspension system, essential to the unique behavior of the Druid E.
Available variants
- Forbidden Druid E Tier 3 800Wh: 800 Wh battery (3.74 kg) for maximum autonomy — Total weight 23.4 kg (51.6 lbs). Same suspension, drivetrain and braking equipment. EAN not disclosed.
- Both versions (600 Wh and 800 Wh) share the same full carbon frame and allow full interchangeability of Avinox batteries.
Positioning and philosophy
The Tier 3 with 600 Wh battery is aimed at riders seeking a high-performance, lightweight and playful e-MTB, capable of linking technical singletrack and aggressive descents without the excessive weight of an 800 Wh configuration. With its contained weight of 22.6 kg and its ultralight Avinox M2 motor, the Druid E Tier 3 600Wh offers the best power-to-weight ratio in the Forbidden 2026 range, while retaining the high-pivot DNA that won a World Cup Enduro on the analog Druid. A proportionally sized bike, the only e-MTB in the world to apply the OneRide philosophy to all sizes — so that every rider, regardless of body type, benefits from the same balance and riding precision.
