Installation and maintenance

Installation of the CEC stem requires the use of a torque wrench to respect the recommended tightening torques: 5-6 Nm for attachment to the fork steerer, 4-5 Nm for the handlebar clamp plate. These values guarantee optimal retention while preserving the integrity of carbon components (handlebar, fork). Titanium requires no special maintenance: cleaning with soapy water is sufficient to preserve its original appearance. The natural corrosion resistance of titanium allows use in all conditions (rain, mud, salt) without degradation. In case of anodization, the color finish remains stable over time.
